Parades
All school community members, including carers, family and friends, are welcome to our Parades. During parades we take the opportunity to celebrate successes. When students demonstrate school wide expectations through positive classroom behaviours and achieving learning goals it is definitely time to celebrate. Students who follow the PBL expectations of being respectful, being responsible, being safe and being a learner are recognised through a PBL reward system and student of the week.
Parades take place each Monday from 2:30pm in the hall. All parents are welcome to join us.
After school
Prep age students are collected from their classroom by designated family members or friends. If your child is in year 1 to 6 you may wish to collect them from the classroom veranda and perhaps even take the opportunity to catch up with their teaching and learning team. Students not collected at their classroom assemble in the shade of the poinsettia tree at the front of the tuckshop area. Staff will supervise them to buses or waiting cars. A number of our students ride their bikes to and from school or walk directly home.
