The facilities at Park Avenue State School are exceptional. Students enjoy learning in spacious well appointed classrooms and have the luxury of choosing from a number of undercover, playground, cricket, soccer, netball and football areas when it comes to play time.
The gracious old library is at the heart of the school. Students have access to a range of iPads, desktop computers and XOs in their classrooms whilst whole class groups can take advantage of the full class quota of desktop computers available in the computer lab. Specialist classes, including Japanese, music and instrumental music, are conducted in dedicated classrooms. Community activities, including Friday parades, are held in the multipurpose hall located at the rear of the school fronting Tung-Yeen Street. This large assembly/performance area also houses toilets including dedicated disability facilities, a fully equipped catering section and a large classroom.
